Our baby marimo are young plants that we have grown ourselves. They need even more love and care than their older, larger siblings.
It is up to you to gently roll the tiny marimo between your fingers regularly to help them develop a round shape that will last throughout their lives.
What are marimo and how to care for them
Marimo are unique spherical algae that naturally grow in freshwater lakes.
Their soft, velvety texture and round or slightly irregular shapes make them a beautiful and calming addition to any interior.
They are very easy to care for, requiring only occasional water changes and indirect light. Simply change the water every 1–2 weeks and gently squeeze the marimo in a bowl or sink filled with water to keep them clean and healthy. With their slow growth and long lifespan, marimo can be enjoyed for many years as a small, living piece of nature in your home.
Marimo are packed in resealable zip bags, allowing them to travel safely for more than two weeks.
Beautiful, eco-friendly packaging designed to protect your order and arrive safely
Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, Christmas, or simply a moment to treat yourself, marimo make a perfect choice.
Our packaging not only catches the eye but also creates a memorable unboxing experience, turning every special moment into something truly lasting.
Each box is carefully lined with natural wood wool, protecting the contents during transport while adding a touch of natural elegance. Inside, you’ll also find a card with simple instructions on how to care for your marimo.
Safe delivery guaranteed.
Why our handcrafted glass?
Because each piece is carefully made in a small workshop in the Czech Republic by a skilled glassmaker. Every jar is shaped by hand over a glassworking torch, where temperatures reach up to 1000 °C.
Thanks to the production process and the use of borosilicate glass, the durability is truly remarkable, even though the jars remain light and elegant.
