Our marimo Nadezhda
Nadezhda is our only marimo with a name. That’s because she was the very first marimo we ever brought home. We were so fascinated by her that she inspired us to bring marimo to as many people around the world as possible.
Nadezhda is around 8 cm in diameter, making her one of the largest marimo. It is difficult to determine the exact age of marimo this large, but we estimate that she is around 20–30 years old.
Together with a few of her giant friends, she is not for sale.
